We know that buying a home can be a process full of emotions. It also requires funds not only for the purchase of the home itself but also for items such as closing costs (local taxes, loan charges, transfer and recordation taxes attorney fees, etc which are paid at closing), upgrades, repairs, etc. So to make things easier and lower your costs we decided to share part of our commission with you, our client and credit that amount towards your closing costs that are required at closing. Closing costs are usually around 3.5% of the sales price and vary depending on the type of financing you use. Our commission refund can save you as much as 42% of those costs.
Here is how our commission refund works:
Usually, a real estate agent representing the buyer is paid by the seller at closing. This payment is in a form of a commission payment and is usually 2.5% or 3% of the home selling price.
At Magnolia Realty we share part of our commission with you, refunding you half (50%) of what we are paid.
For example, A property sold for $500,000 with a buyer's agent commission of $15,000 ( 3% of sales price), Magnolia Realty will refund the
buyer $7,500 ( 50% of our commission).
For properties below $350,000, we will refund 30% of our commission to our client.
